Trainer Tip: Drill Down Your Student Data

Our SchoolTool trainers are experts in providing training and support for using our comprehensive student management system. Every month, we'll share a tip to help teachers, faculty members, and administrators get the most out of our system. This month, our focus is on delving deeper into your student data.

Often data becomes increasingly valuable the more granular you get. When using SchoolTool Dashboards, our Drill Down option will provide you with a list of students within a certain data set. However, our Attendance and Discipline dashboards allow you to go even deeper.

When viewing the Absence Count by Month or Referrals by Month in each dashboard respectively, users can use the Drill Down button located below the data set to populate a new data set and view these counts by each day within a month.
