Automated Registration
	The days of manual registration for BOCES courses are gone, thanks to our automated online registration feature. BOCES administrators can register multiple students simultaneously for BOCES courses or alternative courses.	Home districts can register multiple students simultaneously for BOCES courses or alternative course selections.
Special Ed Tunnel
	BOCES instructors can gain better visibility into educational data with the Special Ed Tunnel, which is compatible with both FrontLine and ClearTrack.	Home districts will no longer need to send Special Education information to BOCES, saving time and additional clerical work.
Student Data Visibility
	BOCES teachers have access to authorized historical student data, including student report cards (secondary or elementary), transcripts, and regents or local assessments. BOCES instructors teaching CTE programs can use this information to create better lesson plans.	Home districts reap the benefits of CTE and BOCES having access to their data as it simplifies the clerical end of sending student data.
BOCES Portal
	A BOCES staff member can view student data and historical information in real time, including report cards, transcripts, regents exams, and other local assessments.	Home districts can view student information, including grades, attendance, and discipline, through the BOCES portal.
Data Change Flags
	Two-way alerts for districts and BOCES for demographic and data changes.	For example, if a parent wants to update their child's emergency contact information, they can call their BOCES or their home district. Once the contact information has been updated, BOCES and the home district will see a student data change flag.
BOCES Grade Copy
	BOCES administrators no longer have to generate grade reports for home districts due to the SchoolTool BOCES integration. As soon as the data is imported, home districts can easily review and download grades and other information.	Home districts can now import BOCES grades and student data into their report cards with one click. This is useful when importing CTE grades since it allows for a seamless transfer of grades.

Automated Registration
	Instead of emailing or sending information to BOCES, you can automate scheduling from right within SchoolTool for one or multiple students.	⇆	Gone are the days of accepting numerous different files/emails from your home districts. Access a single spot to see where everyone has enrolled/registered their students, and automatically convert course requests for use in scheduling tools.
Special Ed Tunnel
	Home districts will no longer need to send Special Education information to BOCES, saving time and additional clerical work.	⇆	BOCES instructors can best serve the unique needs of their students with direct access into real-time IEP visibility, which is compatible with both FrontLine and ClearTrack.
Student Data Visibility
	Home districts no longer need to manually send student data to BOCES because the systems are integrated. Similarly, home districts can see information on student records from the BOCES system without leaving SchoolTool (like attendance!).	⇆	BOCES teachers have access to authorized historical student data, including student report cards (secondary or elementary), transcripts, and regents or local assessments. BOCES instructors teaching CTE programs can use this information to create better lesson plans.
BOCES Portal
	Home districts can log into the BOCES version of SchoolTool and get access to more information for their students than what is available through student data visibility, including grades, attendance, and discipline.	⇆	BOCES doesn’t need to send all their grading, attendance and referrals to home districts because the districts are empowered to view the data on their own.
Data Change Flags
	Home districts can manage student contact information and automatically send changes to BOCES, ensuring everyone has awareness of the latest updates as soon as they happen.	⇆	BOCES can update information and a home district is automatically notified with highlighted changes.
BOCES Grade Copy
	Home districts can now seamlessly transfer BOCES grades and student data with one click, and generate comprehensive report cards.	⇆	BOCES administrators no longer have to generate physical grade reports for home districts due to the SchoolTool BOCES integration.

Employability Profile

BOCES instructors can create individual program profiles and enter Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) data if needed, including options for Work-Based Learning and Career Technical Education (CTE) hours. As students progress through the program, SchoolTool allows for multi-year tracking and data entry.

Multiple Programs

Students in multiple programs can have alternate enrollments and schedules are merged into one view with seamless data integration and information sharing between each program.
