The amount of data feeding any Student Management System can be overwhelming to navigate.

We have interactive dashboards, and plenty of out-of-the-box reports to help you aggregate, understand, and report student data quickly—but if those aren’t enough, our flexible custom export tools let you slice-and-dice the data however you need and want it.

• NYS Data Warehouse Exports

  Each NYS Data Warehouse export is specific to an individual school year. In SchoolTool, you can run a Data Warehouse export at any time, regardless of the time of year. SchoolTool keeps historical data separate to prevent student records from being overwritten, so if you have already rolled over to the new school year, you can still run exports for the previous year.

  Our SchoolTool team is NY-based and can turn state requirements around quickly, and Data Warehouse exports can be scheduled or executed with a single click! Districts can rest assured they don’t have to worry about being late meeting their requirement deadlines.
  
  State Validation
  Prior to running Data Warehouse exports, the State Validation area allows users to review potential export errors for different school years or faculty-based exports, and filter the list based on error type. (These errors correspond with NYS Level 0 validation rules as defined in the NYS Student Information Repository System (SIRS) Manual.)

• Custom Exports

  Users can create custom exports by selecting fields from a module, defining filters, and refining the output by choosing which combinations of rules/criteria are exported. Exports can be saved and shared with other user groups for future use, and can be used to integrate with any vendor than can consume a file to populate their database.

• Scheduled or One-Time Single-Click Exports

  With a click of a button, users have the ability to schedule exports as one-time or recurring jobs that can be delivered to a file location, an email address, and/or to an FTP site.
